Former President Goodluck Jonathan's spokeperson, Reno Omokri has called on all members of the All Progressive Congress, APC to resign from the party if they truly have conscience.
The former spokeperson said this following the announcement by the party's presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu to have selected former Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State as his running mate.
Kashim Shettima, a muslim from the North and his pairing with Bola Tinubu who is also a muslim would be the first muslim and muslim candidate since the fourth republic began in 1999 and has received widespread criticism from the public.
Reno Omokri who has constantly thrown his weight behind PDP's presidential candidate, Atiku, posted on his twitter handle that God fearing people should not support such collaboration at this time when the country is at the height of insecurity.
Taking to his twitter handle, he posted:
"Today, I call on all men and women of conscience to resign from the All Progressives Congress, over Bola Tinubu’s Muslim-Muslim ticket. This is behind politics. Remember what Christ said-“What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his own soul?"
