Both Kwankwaso and Peter Obi dumped the country's major opposition party, PDP, to join their current respective parties and subsequently becoming the eventual flag bearer of their current parties.
Last month, the two were expected to merge and form an alliance to tackle the two major parties after series of negotiations between the representatives of the of LP and NNDP, however, the deal did not broker after series of failed for undisclosed reasons.
Deji who has been a major critic of the current administration find it unreasonable for either of two not to agree to become a vice president to the second.
To him, he still cannot fathom why the they cannot work in unison to battle against Tinubu and Atiku.
Taking to his Twitter account, he posted:
I’m just sincerely angry with Nigerian politicians. Very selfish people. I can’t understand why Obi & Kwankwaso can’t agree to work together. If they can’t beg Atiku to work with them, will understand but these 2 running futile individual campaigns is something I can’t understand.
Deji admitted that even though Obi is not a saint, he remain the best candidate to lead the country, but he is not likely to win because of lack of support in geopolitical zone.
He also believes that but for the greediness of the country's politicians, the next president should come from the northeastern part of the country.
