The prolonged industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities seems not ending any time soon as the union release a daunting statements.

The union which has been on warning strike for more than five months stated on its twitter page that it will have a meeting next month to discuss a possible indefinite strike.
The latest news would dash the hope many students and parents who had hope for possible indication of calling off the strike.
Taking to Twitter, it posted, "The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (@ASUUNGR) will be meeting on the 1st of August 2022.
"They are considering an indefinite strike this time around, and not the usual roll-over warning strike."
