Reno faults those using the country's passport without acknowledging Tinubu's presidency

Former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan's spokesperson, Reno Omokri has faulted anyone who travel with the country's passport but refuse to acknowledge Bola Tinubu as the president.

Reno Omokri

Reno, a staunch of Atiku Abubakar is  known to be a long time critic of the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Following the conclusion of the presidential election, the incumbent President Bola Tinubu seems to have gained the support of the outspoken spokesperson who has consistently throw his weight behind the APC candidate.

Reno Omokri has reiterated without number that Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains the legitimately elected president except when the outcome of the ongoing electoral tribunal hearing says otherwise possibly in favour of the Atiku Abubakar who was the presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP.

Reno further aim jibes at those who have refused to acknowledge the emergence of Bola Tinubu as the legitimate President of the country.

Stating this on his twitter handle, Reno who is also known as a writer believes "If you refuse to recognise the President of your country, Nigeria, yet, you continue to use your Nigerian passport to travel (and get detained at Heathrow Airport), you are an outright fraud! "

Taking to his social media platform, he posted:

If you refuse to recognise the President of your country, Nigeria, yet, you continue to use your Nigerian passport to travel (and get detained at Heathrow Airport), you are an outright fraud!

Because every Nigerian passport is issued in the name of the President and Commander-in-Chief. Using your Nigerian passport is tantamount to recognising Bola Tinubu as your President.

President Bola Tinubu is the President of Nigeria for now. Whether we like it or not, it is true. And until we succeed in unseating him at the court (which I am confident that only the PDP will achieve) it is unconstitutional to refuse to accept him as President.
