"No Hausa or Fulani ever called Lagos a 'no man's land" - Reno

Former spokesperson to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has labelled the Ibo intolerant for branding Lagos State "a no man's land".

Peter Obi & Reno

The Ibo have repeatedly claimed that the country's economic region belongs to no particular tribe which is evident in some Ibo politicians winning some legislative seats in the state.

While not many non-easterners would have the effrontery to contest in the eastern part of the country, Lagos which is located in the southwestern region has become a free zone for all ethnics to vie for political offices.

This mentality and slogan of the Ibos seem not to go well with Reno who chides the Ibos especially during this election period where he sees the Ibos to be arrogance in their support of Peter Obi who is the presidential candidate of the Labour Party and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour who is the Lagos State governorship candidate for the same party.

Taken to his twitter handle, Reno who is a staunch supporter of the People Democratic party's presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar posted:

"I hope Southerners who have been vilifying the Hausa and Fulani over alleged expansionist mindset can now see that no Hausa or Fulani ever called Lagos a 'no man's land'. They respect the Yoruba they met there and give them their due. Now, who is really intolerant? "
In another tweets, Reno debunked Peter Obi for imploring Lagosians to vote out the Sanwo-olu for the the candidate of the Labour Party.

According to Reno, Peter Obi who could not build a single bus terminal in 8 years wants Lagosians to vote out someone who built a metro in just 4 years.

"Ordinary bus terminal, Obi did not build in Anambra for 8 years. And he wants Lagosians to vote out a Governor who built a metro in 4 years? When a man promises to clothe you, look at the clothes he is wearing. Obi is more naked than Sanwoolu!," he tweeted.
