'He indulges in gimmick" - Reno calls out Peter Obi

Former President Goodluck Jonathan's spokesperson, Reno Omokri has labelled the candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, a pretentious fellow who applies "gimmick" strategies.

According to Omokri who posted the image of the the presidential candidate on twitter, "a politician that only remembers you during election will seldom remember you after his selection."

Reno who is also among the campaign team of the presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party, Abubakar Atiku, has been a staunch critic of the Labour Party candidate and believes Peter Obi does not possess the credibility to lead the country.

In his latest criticisms, Reno posted an image of the Labour Party candidate where he was observing prayers in the Islamic doctrine.

Taking to his twitter handle, Omokri posted:

"Had you ever seen him praying like a Muslim before election? Or visit and donate to Internally Displaced Persons in other regions of Nigeria, besides his own region? A politician that only remembers you during election will seldom remember you after his selection.

In an earlier tweet, he posted:

"Show me a video of Obi carrying his own bag at airports before he decided to contest election in 2019 and 2023. People are just so gullible. The man is just indulging in primitive election gimmick. Someone that lives in the most expensive parts of Lagos and London?"
