The supporters of Peter Obi and his running mate are like those of the housemates of the country's popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, Reno Omokri has said.
The Abubakar Atiku's staunch supporter said this in a response to Peter Obi's running mate, Ahmed-Baba, after the running told Obi's supporters to keep the campaign tempo and not get carried away by the reality show.
Reno Omokri, a former spokesperson to Goodluck Jonathan, has been a strong critic of the Labour Party's candidate and their supporters with several allegations made against the supporters including threat from his supporters.
In the latest comments, Reno tweeted:
"I saw Obi’s running mate begging Nigerians not to be distracted by #BBNaija and I laughed. Nigerians are not distracted by BBNaija. It is your structureless, mannerless, threatening, and insulting Obidient horde that are distracted. Name them with your full chest!
"Peter Obi is like #BBNaija housemates. Both will trend online and generate excitement. Their fans will fight anyone that does not fanatically agree with them. Until after Election Day, or the next BBNaija season. Then, they will gradually FADE AWAY!"
